I am sure by now you have heard that affirmations can be very beneficial to not only your lifestyle but your health as well. Before I get into that a little deeper I wanted to share with you a way I discovered how to play them over and over in your head without any effort. You could try the most common method and put sticky notes on your bathroom mirrors, refrigerator or any place you go a lot. And if that works for you please continue to do so. I tried that for a while but I found myself taking them down when anyone was coming over because I felt a little funny having my personal thoughts and desires posted in plane site. Then they just ended up staying in my drawer.
I have a 1936 Ford Slant back that I am making a sweet street rod out of and one day while I was working on it the lyrics from a Queen song started playing in my head. You may have had them stick in your head as well. They were “I am a poor boy, nobody loves me” followed by the chorus “He‘s just a poor boy nobody loves him…..” It took me a few minutes before I realized those words were playing over and over in my head. When I did I thought, how horrible to have such destructive words embedded into my subconscious. Somebody should come up with positive affirmation songs that stick like that in a persons mind I said to myself. So I changed the words to “I am a rich man, everybody loves me!" And I left out the chorus. You may be saying that is great but did it help. I only started a few days ago and while I have not seen financial riches yet I can tell you that when I sing my little song my energy immediately rises along with my sense of joy. Try it for yourself and maybe if you still need to put up sticky notes it may only say, ”Sing my song.”
So what are affirmations? They are statements of positive reinforcement that are
repeated frequently throughout the day. The concept behind them is to provide a positive
message that when presented often enough is accepted as reality by the subconscious
mind. This in turn allows a particular outcome to be accomplished. They are used
in a variety of ways, such as to create self-
Healing affirmations are designed to be focused and concise. Many people use ones that have already been created. These can be found with research or even purchased in books from your local booksellers. The process of choosing yours is almost as important as the work in bringing it into belief.
They have to be chosen with care, after all the purpose behind them is to create a particular mind set within the subconscious. In order to do this and have it be effective and productive the wording should be carefully considered. It must be believable, short enough to say quickly and often and should be completely free of the potential for misinterpretation.
Most of the time positive affirmations are to correct issues, which have been present since childhood. These are deeply seated and the mind in generally is lazy and will choose the path of least resistance. This means that the mind is more willing to maintain the status quo than to change.
It is this situation that sometimes makes it difficult for long-

They can be a great way to promote a variety of healing's within the mind, spirit
and body. These can be said quietly, frequently and be written down. Writing them
is another great way to embed them into your subconscious mind. They Should be short
and concise so they are easy to remember and repeat. They can be used to help heal
the body after a trauma or they can be used to help heal and change longer standing
issues. It is important in order to receive the most of the benefits that come from
affirmations that the person saying the affirmations is consistent and more importantly
believes in the outcome that they want. Michael J. Losier points out in his book

You Don't
to "Remember, it's the absence of doubt that will bring your desire faster."
I highly recommend his book because it is also a workbook with tools for you to set
up your affirmations so your subconscious will believe them thus allowing you to
attract your deepest desires.
If you like my idea of changing the lyrics of a song to a positive affirmation and come up with one of your own that you would like to share, I would love to post it here for all to see. We are all one and helping others to healing helps to heal ourselves.
